| Mission Statement LEAVES exists to help military personnel. Our goal is to show support and encouragement to these brave men and women. We accomplish this through a three pronged approach. First, we provide a chance to create roots in the community through events and private family dinners. Second we assign a friend and ally to regularly write and send personal gifts while our Service Members are overseas. Third, we seek out situations where we are able to provide "Extraordinary Support" to Service Members and their families. With this these three steps we strive to be examples of both the depth and endurance of Christ's love to these brave men and women. |

| Ally Program This program encourages and trains people here on the homefront to support our American Heroes using letters and packages. |
| Extraordinary Support Program This program fills the gaps in traditional support programs by providing for "outside the box" needs. Here are some examples of the support this program has given. Teaching a Marine to drive Making "Welcome Home" banners for an ill wife Providing groceries to a family when a check was delayed Inviting Marines unable to return home to a family Christmas Providing a DVD player for a Marine to watch Dvds of his toddler Providing a hotel room for Servicemembers to relax in after returning from Iraq |
| Hero Adventures This program, focused on Camp Pendleton, gives us a chance to meet and support "In Country" Heroes by proving a chance to get off base with fun events and trips. All events are provided at little or no cost to participating Marines. |
| Hero Feasts This program, again focused on Camp Pendleton, provides a sense of belonging in the local community by inviting local Marines to small family dinners in local homes. |
